For your consideration, you are Bidding (with NO RESERVE, beyond the minimum starting bid) on My Unique Rare Paramount Pictures Radio Recording Movie Preview of the 1942 Release of War Year's Comedy/Musical "Star Spangled Rhythm," with an ALL-STAR CAST on a Single-Sided 16" Flexible Vinyl 33-1/3-RPM Record. (Note: THIS CANNOT BE PLAYED ON A STANDARD SIZE (12") PHONOGRAPH TURNTABLE PLATTER). This kind of record was issued to radio stations for them to play as a way to promote movies with audio previews, before TV. (Note: See Pictures #6, found on the Web, which shows what the color movie lobby card looked like, listing the many famous cast members in this movie). The record was played on the radio. There's normal vinyl hiss and pops, but the announcer (Ken Carpenter), show cast, and songs (by Betty Hutton, Rochester, Bing Crosby, and Mary Martin) are clear with no skips. Very nice condition for its 80-Year age. The record is handwritten in the run-out groove as number "H-3019." This weighs 9.5-Ounces, without counting additional for quality overpackaging. Hopefully, from the pictures and my description, you can fully appreciate what is being offered here.
