Description

This 78 record set is titled Chee Lai, songs of new China with Paul Robeson. The booklet that comes with the set is dated 1941. This set was released by Kenote Recordings in the U.S. to promote the Chinese cause during WWII. The album has a tear to the spine as seen in the fifth photo but it was prevented from going through to the inside by the backing tape (sixth photo). The records are in great shape with the only damage being the tiny chip to the edge of one record (fourth photo). No deep scratches. The records have most of their original gloss as seen in the third photo and play without repetitious pops or skips. The labels are in fantastic shape without any spindle tracks at all.
