Okeh 8566 1927 Louis Armstrong and His Hot Five Struttin' With Some Barbecue / Once in a While. Until I saw Ken Burns' Jazz series, I had no idea anyone else thought Louis Armstrong was the best thing that ever happened to music. This is a 1927 recording brimming with energy and joy. This is an old record, expect some hiss and the occasional soft pop. And yest, there is a chip which is in the outside margin and in no way hampers playing the entire tunes.


We collect, record and release 78's. Ebay is our outlet store. We only post records once so if you see one and want it, please buy it. We do not re-list them. Most of our stuff is jazz, blues or western swing, but we are adventurers. We have been advised to learn how to grade records. We are old retired folks who have no interest in learning a new trade.
