Very rare and original, 1921 Victor Talking Machine Company / Victrola Records Chromolithograph Die Cut Advertising Hand Fan.
This very early, Victrola Records Advertising Fan measures approx. 8 1/2” tall and 12”at its widest point.
The front side of the Fan features an image of a the cast of an opera on stage with a Victrola Record (with Nipper on the label) as the backdrop of the stage. Text at the bottom of the image reads “An All-Star Concert in Your Home On Your Own Victrola”.
The back of the Fan features 3 images of groups of people having parties and dancing to music played on a Victrola Record Player. Text below the images reads “Any Time - Any Where - The Victrola is Always Ready”. There is overprint at the bottom of the back side of the fan that identifies the Waterville, Maine retailer that sells Victrola Record Players. The Fan is copyright 1921.
This rare and original, Victrola Record Player and Records Advertising Hand Fan is in very good condition. The Fan displays nicely with light edge wear and some spots of fading at the top edge of the back side of the Fan. The original wood handle is a bit loose at the attachment to the head of the Fan. Please see the scans below for a good indication of the form and condition of this rare Victrola Advertising Fan.
