Description

For your consideration is a rare and desirable 10" 78rpm American Record Company record.  These records are very collectible due to their great label graphics illustrating a native American Indian smoking a peace pipe while listening to a phonograph or gramophone.  
The record is manufactured by the Hawthorne, Sheble, & Prescott Co. around 1901-1903. 
The record is a Specialty Talk by Spencer & Porter titled "Flanagan's Night Off".  It is record number 031255.
This early record is of dark blue shellac and is single-sided. 
The record's visual grade is very good considering it's age.  The paper label is excellent.



As a machine collector, I am not comfortable grading record quality but the surface has only minor scuffs and no chips or stress cracks.  There is only minor surface noise in the recording.  However, the buyer shall be responsible for record quality based on the visual photos.

I have been a collector (not a dealer) of early phonographs for well over 30 years.  I am detail oriented and know exactly how to pack and ship phonograph records so that they arrive safe and sound. Since joining eBay in 1999, I have 100% feedback as both a buyer and seller. 

This record will be bubble wrapped and reinforced with cardboard sleeves and shipped media mail via USPS.  Can combine shipping cost for multiple purchases. 

International purchases welcome.  Buyer pays shipping costs plus applicable tariffs and duties. Item will be shipping thru the eBay Global Shipping Program.

Regarding refunds, I will provide a full 14 day money back refund but only if it is demonstrated that I have misrepresented the record's condition or if the record is damaged during shipment (requiring an insurance claim).  I cannot provide a refund for other circumstances such as buyer’s remorse or change of mind.
