Description

So, here's the thing about mid-90's underground indie bands: they could be incredibly insufferable whingers. The Goo Goo Dolls, Dinosaur Junior, Happy Mondays ... they are so damn introspective and in touch with their feelings.  I blame REM, myself.  They started the whole looking inward and burping out emotional angst, culminating with their song 'Everybody Hurts'.  I was way into that stuff when I was much younger, but by '95 I had already long since outgrown that in the same way I'd outgrown the juvenile sexual energy of Kiss by the 80's.

But that's as maybe.  18th Dye are this Brit trio who can whinge and emote with the best of them.  They're not bad at all. In fact, they are quite good.  But they aren't for me any longer.  They weren't for me when I bought this, which explains why it is in such incredible shape.
This album is quite unknown here in the US, and is very rare. In fact, there is only one other listing here on ebay and that is from a seller in the UK.

Condition:

  • Vinyl (visual grade): NM (9/10).  It honestly looks as if it has never been played, and that isn't far off the mark. I think I played this about 5 times total, then it went on the shelf and just stayed there -- for about 25 years.
  • Jacket: NM (9/10). Clean, glossy, unmarred, and with minimal wear. Plus it comes with the heavy duty lyric insert.
  • Play: -- (X/X): I honestly can't tell you how this plays because I haven't listened to it.  My turntable needs a new stylus.

Note: I know what it's like to get scammed by dishonest ebay sellers, so I do my absolute best to ensure that this item is described honestly. I'm proud of the fact I have perfect feedback as a seller, which means you can bid with confidence.  If you would like any additional information, don't hesitate to ask.
