**Lot of used Edison Diamond Disc 78 RPM Records circa 1920s**

From the quiet, sun-faded corners of a once-prosperous Southern railroad town comes this as found lot of Edison Diamond Disc records. Tucked beneath the expensive NuTone home system ... amongst the estate of a distinguished, long-lived business-couple whose wealth and years were etched into every room of the home. These records, appear to have been shelved about 50 years prior... and were in a non smoking, climate-controlled storage. Many are played... but some are real survivors of another time it appears.

In their as-found estate condition,  Most of these records look like they’ve been played, though most, not too much. You’ll find several with obvious wear, and many minor scratches, while others are gleaming, still holding onto that old-world Edison gleam. A few have their share of condition problems, but overall, it’s a fine lot in mostly excellent shape. It’s too many records to go into detail on each one, so take your time with the photos—they’ll give you a good, honest sense of the lot -- just know there are a couple of rough ones buried in the stack..

 None of these have been cleaned or play-tested, but they sure look usable to me. I’ve done my best to count—it's either 18 or 19 records—but you’ll want to refer to my description. The lot is sold just as you see it: quite a stack of history here, and believe me, they’ve got some weight to them.

Each record will be wrapped in film and handled with utmost care, until you get to clean them . They will also be double-boxed to avoid breakage during shipment. Study the photos carefully to see their condition, especially the labels and grooves. These aren't mint, but they are fine examples of records from a bygone era, ideal for those who collect such pieces.

### Condition:

Most records are in overall good shape with clean labels. Some records exhibit minor scratches, edge wear, or scuffing as noted. All records need cleaning, but those stored in the middle of the lot are relatively clean. Two of the records remain in their original Edison sheaths and were not opened for inspection but appear new or near-new with only some scuffing around the labels.

Most labels are super clean, but many records show signs of having been played. Coming from climate-controlled storage, the records are nice and flat, and edge chips were only noticed on the very outer rim of a couple of records, away from the grooves, and should not affect playability.
