13th Floor Elevators - Easter Everywhere IALP #5 International Artists , Original
This is one of those must-have LP's for a complete collection. Featuring Roky Erickson, the Elevators are the quintessential 60's Texas Psych band. A very difficult original album to find. This cover has weathered the 60's pretty well with all intact seams. The gold shiny cover of this album is one of those that never fares well and always has rub marks and ringwear, and this one is no exception, though better than most. More importantly it has the always tough to get, original inner sleeve. The inner sleeve is in very good shape, though does have a little paper aging in darkening over the years. The LP itself, like most Elevator albums, did receive some play. It has numerous shallow scratch marks, though nothing deep, and all play through well as most of this older vinyl did. There is a little surface noise and an occassional pop, but overall this plays very well with no skips or distortions..(except the distorted psych music). The original dark green/turquoise IA label has some marksalot marks...see the pictures please. If I didn't have another copy, this wouldnt be leaving my possession, but starting the dispersal of a massive collection and will be throwing in a quite a few nuggets. Coming up soon....Oz Knozz.
Cover: VG+ does have ringwear and rubwear, but all seams intact, there is a faint name written on the upper right back Vinyl: VG+ numerous shallow scratch marks but plays well, both labels have black marker marks..see pics
