Description
Up for bids is a totally awesome copy of the 2nd Elevators LP, and easily one of the 5 psych LPs of all time, "Easter Everywhere" from 1968. Stereo pressing on International Artists, IALP #5, NO "Masterphonics" in the deadwax! This is from the absolute first pressing run, wherein a typo was made on the last song on the B-side "Postures (Leave Your Body Behind)" was mistaken labeled as "Posturos (Leave Your Body Behind)" on the back of the jacket (but not on the center label). The sleeve rates as a strong VG++, with only a light amount of rubbing and ringwear that unfortunately seem to plague virtually all copies of this album. No seam splits, and just a light tear on the back slick, as seen in photo #2 where you can see the typo. There's also some light marks on the back slick that are only evident in the white printing on the bottom 1/8 of the slick. The vinyl is a VG++ as well and only has a few light marks. Typical of all IA titles though, it is mastered at a low volume and has some minor surface noise in places. The labels look immaculate! Also, this copy has the original lyric sleeve insert, that save for typical yellowing on a 44 year old paper good, only has some folding and tears at the top but ultimately looks very nice in combination with the jacket and disc. This is definitely the nicest copy I've seen, and I live in Austin and have seen maybe half a dozen copies in the same number of years, and all of those in much lesser condition.
