JODY GRIND~ FAR CANAL (1970) RARE!!! 12" Vinyl Album ~ Stereo. Sleeve write up. I quote ~ "In November 1968 Ivan Zagni, an excellent guitarist, Martin Harryman, now with Da Da, and myself, formed a group which we named Jody Grind. In March 1969 Martin left and Barry Wilson took over on drums. The three of us then recorded an LP. called 'One Step On'. People dug it and it was issued. In November 1969 Ivan and Barry, getting deeper into a very personal musical form, left the group. I asked Pete Gavin and Bernie Holland to join the band, which they did, and together we spent six, hard, enjoyable, sad, heavy musical months. What we hit together on stage is something that cannot be captured in the studio, but the live track 'Plastic Shit', recorded at the Roundhouse is fairly representative. Pete has now left the group to join a big band, something to which he is very well suited, and in which I am sure he will be successful. I am now getting together something new, elements of which can be heard on these recordings along with some new sounds we hope you'll come and dig. Please listen. It has not been tested due to lack of equipment to do so. The sleeve is in acceptable condition with some scuff marks and creasing, mainly on one corner.
