Unquestionably one of the most famous recordings ever done. In fact, the Zarathustra sessions in 1954 have been hailed as the birth of high-end stereo.
This edition of the renowned LSC-1806 is the 1/2 speed mastered .5 series released by John Pfeiffer when he got fed up with taking so much flak over Dynaflex (deservedly so, in the view of most). As a result, he worked from the original master tapes, half-speed mastered them, then pressed the affair on a heavier vinyl, which sounds quite stunning and is every reason why the recording is highly praised on the TAS list.
This copy is very crisp; the jacket near perfect, the record within all ashine. Near mint and better in playback.
A classic performance of extraordinary proportion.

Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
