This record has been cleaned and played through completely both sides on a Lenco L75 Turntable as well as visually inspected under a bright halogen desk lamp to provide an accurate grading.
LP’s are packed outside their covers ( to guard against ring-wear & splits during transit ) and then placed inside a plastic outer protective sleeve for safe delivery.

CONDITION

VINYL : Most acceptable / clean labels / shiny throughout / one or two faint marks only / plays terrific with a crisp and clean sound / no skips / no lead in-out hiss / only very lightly played and worthy of an EX+

SLEEVE : great / no writing or splits and the spine is intact / no marks and despite the faintest hint of ring-wear presents extremely well

INSERT : excellent / no marks or splits / includes full lyrics.

DESCRIPTION

A very tidy 1st and only pressing of this now very scarce 4 track EP (plays at 33rpm) from political-folk outfit Redgum that includes ‘Fabulon’ …..their parody of ‘Rivers Of Babylon’.

Aside from Midnight Oil, few Australian bands of the 1980s could boast such a fiercely outspoken, passionate and jingoistic outlook as that of this band. The groups brand of agit-folk pop earned an enormous following and by 1983 Redgum had reached the premier league as one of the biggest crowd-pulling bands on the Australian scene.
This one rarely surfaces and I don’t recall it ever issued in CD format either.
