Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

An outstanding 'time capsule' copy of this very collectable classic LP. THE SLEEVE AND VINYLS ARE  LIKE NEW. ONE PLAY AND ARCHIVED!

THE VINYLS   BOTH STONE MINT   INCREDIBLE 'ONE PLAY'  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized 1st UK pressing, AND it is in superb 'AS NEW' condition, PRESERVED SINCE 1977 -

Both vinyls have retained their amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP set of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

There are no whisp lines and nothing else visible at all on this vinyl!  Quite astonishing- Clearly this LP set has been archived for many many years.

No spindle skate around the centre holes again suggests this LP set has maybe had one, it shows no signs of any wear at all.

On listening through we heard the slightst of lead in static and that was it..it is an amazing listen throughout the 4 sides.

 Not much to add here, other than this 'archived' LP is simply MINT, and you will never see better..

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

THE SLEEVE     EX+ STRONG

Correct LAMINATED  Gatefold first issued earliest sleeve by 'Howards' -- this is straight out the box from 1977

 This is in superb condition, no bubbling on the laminate - The edges are all super clean with no traces of rub, and the tips also have no rub of any note, all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition- The lamaination finishes very short of the open edges and there is the usual fluff build up

No powdery white ringwear - only some very light ring press, and all edges are super crisp.

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with no hint of handling

The open out of the gatefold is simply perfect, unlaminated as it should be & no dulling, white rub or wear at all. The sleeve does not fall flat and the black inks are pristine.

The spine edge - all legends are perfect-there are a couple of pinched spider lines on the spine edge going onto the front sleeve.

WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, THIS SLEEVE IS SUPERB AND THE VINYLS WITHIN ARE JUST 'TIME CAPSULE CONDITION'!
