Description
Here is another great album from my personal collection which I regrettably have to part with. It's by 100% Pure Poison with "Coming Right At You", their 10-track 12" LP which was the first LP release on EMI's short lived EMI International label with cat number INS 3001. This is the long deleted, original first issue of this very desirable, very collectable album, and not the re-released version, issued more recently by Soul Brother Records.
Info on the group - '100% Pure Poison was comprised by a group of American military men stationed in Germany during the early 70s. Their pre-disco soul music was of notable quality with a Chicago or Detroit urban feel. Despite their quality, they never climbed to prominence in the United States. In Europe, however, their contributions live on more vividly.' Tracks are:
Side One: "You Keep Coming Back", "No More City, No More Country", "Boarding Pass", "Holes In My Shoes" and "My Little Someone". Side Two: "Windy C", "(But You Say) You Want To Make It With Me", "Don't Let Your Pride Overpower Your Love", "(And When I Said) I Love You" and "Puppet On A Chain".

Disc is in very good to excellent condition having had minimal use - both sides play very well, very minor crackles but no sticks or jumps. Labels are in excellent condition with no writing, stickers or tears. Original (non laminated) sleeve is in reasonable condition - shows some scuffing, creasing and staining (see pics) but no writing or stickers, overall acceptable. In summary, the vinyl record is in great condition for a 44 year old disc, and the whole package is only let down by the sleeve which as you can see is showing its age.
