For auction today: You may hear people say "only known copy" sometimes, when refering to records, well, this is certainly the ONLY copy.
Read the label and see that it says: "Tape to Disc from customers tapes". From Deroy Sound Service Lancashire. July 1972. Same label as Parameter, Complex, Mick Stevens etc... Obviously Mr. Hobbs just wanted his work in a more permanent format than audio-tape, i.e. vinyl.
The lp sleeve has a printed street scene on front in blue, with the same scene in red ink but on a plastic transparency and as Paul says on the back of the sleeve: "If you wish, put your own words in balloons (felt pen) and change once a week". Title of the lp is "Having Said That".
Comes with 17 page sketch book where Paul has created original hand-done artworks using various mediums to go with the theme of each song. One per page. I have only shown a few of them. You can smell the oil crayon on a few of them even. Others are textured, screenprinted or using gold paint etc... Also has lyrics booklet with words to all tracks. These have obviously been painstakingly hand-done with a typewriter.
Don;t know what else to say about the presentation/music. "Beyond stunning"? As far as rarity goes, what can you say about an lp where only 1 was ever pressed? 12 pictures will say some more I hope. Ask me anything you like about it. I have more pix on file I can send. I dont have the many resources needed to reissue it or else I would 'cos it is georgeous acid folk music with similar sound to COB, as I mentioned above and only has one track from 18 that has a "Christian" theme. Quite a few people have heard it now via my very rough cdr recording and they either loved it or thought it was plain good. No bad reviews. I can identify mainly acoustic and slide guitars. But also, electric lead, keyboard and percussion. Most with overdubs.
Reasonable min bid I think. Cover, disc and booklets are all in superb condition.

An important word about my gradings: "M-" is my highest grade. Bid with confidence as I grade strictly, under direct lamplight, NOT room/indirect light as many sellers do. It's not good enough.
